Work Record

A project's living narrative record: its intent, its status, the decisions taken on it, its progress log, and its blockers — kept current as work lands. The work record is the first step of every new initiative (a project folder and living record are created when the initiative is queued, not after), and it is the memory a later session reconstructs the project from.

Estate surface​

One per project at docs/03-projects/<slug>/work-record.md in the docsite, in the standard shape: Intent, Status, Decisions, Progress log, Blockers / open items, Artifact links.

Relations​

  • A work record records decision — the choices taken on its project, with their dates and deciders.

Notes​

The work record narrates; it does not govern. Board truth lives on the board, method in the runbooks — the record links to both rather than restating them.
