Board

A project's queue surface: the in-repo Markdown kanban (llm-kanban) that holds its backlog, stories, sprints, and claims, where frontmatter is the database and board.md / status.md are generated views. The board is the single source of work truth for its project — status flows from the board, never from chat memory.

Estate surface​

Boards live in their project's repository under kanban/ (kanban/AGENTS.md is the local contract; kanban.py is the tool). Three operate today: agent-orchestration, dashboard, and cmsmakers.

Relations​

  • A board contains sprint — its sprints are files on the board.
  • A board contains story — its stories are files on the board.
  • A board is part of its project.

Notes​

A board's generated views are projections, never edited by hand; the story files govern.
