Templates

Fill-in files — the start-of-a-document shape, so the next document does not start from a blank page.

Applies to:

  • Pre-draft templates (Well-Architected review pre-draft, finding registers).
  • Report skeletons (status report, verification result, review request).
  • Standard section sets (the required blocks of an assessment document).

Conventions:

  • One template per file, slugged: well-architected-pre-draft.md, status-report.md.
  • A template is a shape, not an example — placeholders in brackets, no real data.
  • Generated or versioned fill-in files (.xlsx, .docx) are linked here, not pasted; the markdown holds the instructions and the field map.
