Audit

A structured examination of an estate against a standard, producing findings — not fixes. An audit reports what diverges, with evidence; what happens to the findings (remediation, acceptance, escalation) is a decision, taken after the audit, by whoever owns the estate.

Estate surface

The SEO agent's standing audit of x-centric.com (diff-first reports against its baseline); the sweeper's skills-coverage and consistency audits in its sweep reports; the AF-58 kanban test-hardening audit; security reviews and UI/UX reviews recorded as project reports in the docsite.

Relations

  • An audit is defined by the runbook whose method it executes — the standard it examines against and the shape of its findings are set there, not improvised per run.

Notes

Distinct from a decision: an audit produces the evidence a decision consumes. Distinct from a dispatch: an audit is the examination itself, however it was assigned.
